Following the event an in depth evaluation took place to analyse the following:

• Effectiveness of the event design and planning

• Professionalism of the event delivery, health & safety and operations

• Effectiveness of communication, marketing and sales

• Efficiency of the financial management

With great importance being placed on event evaluation (Brown et al, 2015), feedback from a range of stakeholders, an internal examination and a review of the event aims and objectives were taken into account to determine the success of the event and the fore mentioned factors (Sharples et al, 2014).
